Amazon Echo Input

With the advent of intelligent speaker technology, you are forgiven for thinking that the state of the art in your living room is suddenly a little less chic.

You probably have a better sound than an Echo Dot or Google Home, but if you can control it with your voice, this would certainly add a whole new perspective. You’ve been discussing buying an echo, but have been convinced so far because you do not need the actual “speaker” part of the setup, but you can not handle it. You are probably not alone in your thinking process. So it’s hardly surprising that Amazon has now developed the technology to turn any speaker into an intelligent speaker using the Amazon Echo Input. Simply connect to your existing speaker with a 3.5mm audio cable or Bluetooth, and Amazon Music, Spotify, and TuneIn Radio can all be played through your favorite speaker. Or ask Alexa to let you know about the weather, news, traffic and alarm settings. With four microphones, your voice is recorded from anywhere, even when the speaker is at full volume. All you have to do is connect it and connect to the internet via WiFi. A blue LED light indicates when it is listening and there is a microphone off switch. So if you are aware that you are listening to private conversations, this can easily be solved. Due to the nature of the input, there is no internal speaker on the device itself, so you can not pick it up and take it on vacation. However, you can connect it to a portable speaker if it is compatible. This is cheaper than buying an Echo Dot or Plus, which is great if you’ve dreamed to bring your sound system up to date. If you do not have a speaker for this task, you can buy it in a package with some speakers.
